NDRF Nursing Assistant Saves Injured Man in Kahilipara

Guwahati: Rajesh Chhetri, a Nursing Assistant with the 1st Battalion NDRF, displayed extraordinary dedication to duty by providing immediate medical aid to a road accident victim in Udalbakhar, Kahilipara, Guwahati.

While transporting patients to Hayat Hospital from Patgaon, Rajesh noticed a severely injured man, later identified as 52-year-old Anupam Nag of Maligaon, Guwahati, who had been hit by a car while riding his two-wheeler. Acting without hesitation, he stopped the NDRF ALS ambulance, administered first aid, and rushed the victim to Hayat Hospital for further treatment.

H P S Kandari, Commandant of the 1st Battalion NDRF, praised Rajesh Chhetri’s quick response and selfless service, calling it a true reflection of the NDRF’s motto and the spirit of ‘Men in Orange,’ as emphasized by the Prime Minister.
