NCC Junior Cadets from St. Francis School to Make History at Republic Day Camp

Guwahati: 20 NCC junior wing cadets from St. Francis School, Patharkuarie, Guwahati, affiliated with 1 Assam Battalion NCC, Guwahati, will participate in the prestigious Republic Day camp in 2024. They will be part of the NCC Brass Band representing the NCC North Eastern Region (NER) Directorate.

These young cadets, aged between 13 to 15 years, will be among the 45 cadets forming the NCC Band Contingent. They will march in the Republic Day Parade 2024, marking a significant achievement for Assam. The cadets will undergo training at Assam Rifles, Kohima, from October 1 to 10, followed by a pre-RDC camp in December 2023. They will then head to the Republic Day Camp at DG NCC, New Delhi, on December 25, 2023.
