International Day of Yoga 2024 Observed at Bhimasankar Mandir

Guwahati: The International Day of Yoga 2024 was celebrated at Bhimasankar Mandir in Pamohi, Garchuk, Guwahati, jointly organized by the Regional Office Guwahati, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and the Bhimasankar Dwadash Jyotirling Dakini Pahar Panchadhara Shivadham Trust on June 21, 2024. This year’s theme was “Yoga for Self and Society.”

A total of 42 participants, both male and female, ranging from 12 to 65 years old, took part in the program. Sri Kaushik Das, a Bronze Medalist Yoga practitioner, served as the Resource Person of the day. He delivered an inspiring speech on the benefits of regular Yoga practice for individuals and society.

The event began at 9:30 am and concluded with a series of Yoga sessions following the guidelines provided for the occasion.
