Manipur: The Indian Army has inaugurated a new computer lab in S. Kawtlian, Churachandpur District, as part of Operation Sadbhavana on 21 September 2024. This initiative aims to improve access to education and technology for local communities, addressing the demand for modern computer training in the region.

Equipped with seven computers, a printer, and a projector, the facility will help students and residents gain essential digital literacy skills. The lab is expected to enhance the youth’s career prospects by providing information technology training.

Local village chiefs, including the Chief of S. Kawtlian, attended the inauguration and praised the Indian Army’s commitment to community development. This initiative is part of the Army’s broader efforts to strengthen educational infrastructure and support the region’s growth.
