Guwahati : A distressing incident occurred in the Koinadhora area of Guwahati on Thursday evening when a young man was shot by unknown attackers.

The victim, identified as Anjan Nath from the Latakata locality in Guwahati, was sitting on his motorcycle when the assailants fired at him. Nath was immediately taken to the hospital in a critical state, but unfortunately, the doctors at the hospital pronounced him dead. The Assam Director General of Police, GP Singh, and Guwahati Commissioner of Police, Diganta Barah, visited the scene to gather information and assess the situation.
The authorities discovered an empty cartridge at the site, and an investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
