Guwahati : A huge tree uprooted and fell onto a railway quarter near Kamakhya Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School in the Maligaon area of Guwahati city on Monday night. As per report, neighbors quickly rescued the family living in the house, ensuring no one was hurt or seriously affected.
The tree was originally located in the school’s yard and was brought down by continuous rainfall in Guwahati and other parts of Assam over the past few days. This incident serves as a reminder of the vulnerability caused by such heavy rain.
