Guwahati: A government officer named Achyut Das, who works as a Lot Mandal in the O/O Circle Officer Guwahati, Kamrup (Metro), was caught red-handed while he was taking money as a bribe. This was discovered by the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption.

The incident happened just after he accepted money from someone who wanted their property documents to be processed.
It’s said that the officer had asked for money from the person who wanted the work done.
They reported this situation to the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, and they are looking into it.
