Guwahati : The Assam Trinamool Mahila Congress has registered an FIR at Dispur police station, holding the civic body, administration, JICA officials, and contractors responsible for the tragic accident resulting in the death of Priya Kumari at Ganeshguri in the city on Thursday morning. The party demands appropriate action against those found guilty in connection with the girl’s demise.
Dilip Kumar Sarma, Chairman of the Media Department of Assam Trinamool Congress, addressed the media following the filing of the FIR. He attributed the accident and the unfortunate loss of Priya Kumari’s life to the negligence of the municipal corporation, administration, JICA, jalboard officials, and contractors.
