Guwahati: City Cricket Club emerged victorious by 34 runs against Bud Cricket Club in the GSA Champions Trophy finale. Opting to bat first, City Cricket Club showcased an impressive performance, scoring 194 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. In response, Bud Cricket Club managed to secure 160 runs in 20 overs.

The standout player of the match was Hrishikesh Tamuli from City Cricket Club, who contributed significantly with a notable 74 runs.

The Closing Ceremony witnessed the esteemed presence of Chiranjit Langthasa, Treasurer of Assam Cricket Association, as the Chief Guest. Rajinder Singh, Joint Secretary of Assam Cricket Association, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The ceremony also had the participation of Paresh Chandra Das, President of GSA; Bhola Boro, Vice President of GSA; Kajal Paul Choudhary, Joint Secretary of GSA; Bablu Choudhary, Asstt General Secretary of GSA; Raghavendra Majumdar, Sports Secretary (Athletics) of GSA; Gitartha Das, Sports Secretary (Table Tennis) of GSA; Nasir Gul Khan, Sports Secretary (Cricket) of GSA; and Pramod Rajbangshi, Executive Member of GSA, who presented the awards.
