Guwahati – Cairn marked Children’s Day in Assam by launching programs to support education and local communities. Cairn’s efforts included giving essential school supplies, hosting art contests, and upgrading school facilities to create a better learning environment for young students.
At Chomua LP School in Mariani, Jorhat, Cairn provided 24 study desks to improve classroom comfort. In Tinsukia, Kotha LP School received 69 desks for students from classes 1-5. Local leaders, parents, and Anganwadi workers joined these events, showing community support. “Helping students get the tools they need supports our goal of community-focused growth,” said a Cairn spokesperson.
In Jagun, Cairn organized an art competition at Kothagoan LP School with 93 students from nearby schools. More than 150 people, including parents and teachers, attended. Cairn also provided electric fans for Toratoli Agchomua LP School and an Anganwadi Center in Naginijan to improve the classroom atmosphere during warm weather.
These Children’s Day events show Cairn’s commitment to building strong, supportive communities and improving the quality of life for young learners in Assam.
