Guwahati: A delegation from Bhutan, including officials from the Royal Government and the Consulate General, visited Girijananda Chowdhury University, Azara on May 13.
This visit marked the start of an educational partnership between the university and Bhutan. The delegation, led by Ambassador Tshwang Chophel Dorji and Secretary of Ministry of Education, Mr. Sonam Wangdi, explored the university campus and met with university leaders.
Discussions focused on potential collaborations and exchange programs between Bhutan and the university. Girijananda Chowdhury University looks forward to fostering a strong friendship with the Royal Government of Bhutan.
