Professor Dr Sanjib Das of Assam University has been honoured with the ‘Pharmacy Sikhsha Ratna’ award by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to pharmacy education.
The award was presented at a ceremony held at ITC Hotel in New Delhi on October 27, 2026.
Professor Dr Hemanta Sarma of Delhi University and Professor Sukriti Das were also honoured with the prestigious award for their contributions to the pharmacy profession.
The ceremony was part of the celebration marking 75 years of excellence, dedication and contributions by the Pharmacy Council of India.
