Assam Releases Final Electoral Roll for Panchayat Elections 2025

Guwahati: The Assam State Election Commission has officially published the final electoral rolls for the upcoming Panchayat Elections in 2025. This follows the recent delimitation of Gaon Panchayat, Anchalik Panchayat, and Zilla Parishad constituencies in 27 districts, excluding Sixth Schedule and municipal areas.

The final voter count includes 1,80,14,913 electors, comprising 90,60,640 male voters, 89,53,865 female voters, and 408 voters of other genders. These voters will cast their ballots to elect representatives for 397 Zilla Parishad constituencies, 181 Anchalik Panchayats, 2,192 Gaon Panchayats, and 21,920 wards.

The electoral rolls are available for public access at Gaon Panchayat, Block Development, Zilla Parishad, and District Commissioner offices. Voters can also check their details online on the State Election Commission’s website (ermssec.assam.gov.in). Names can be verified using the EPIC number or by downloading the voter roll for specific polling stations.

The Commission has also announced that the process of adding new voters will continue until January 1, 2025. This ensures that all eligible voters are included before the elections.
