Guwahati: The Assam Cricket Association has announced the squad for the first two matches of the BCCI Women’s U-23 One Day Tournament, which will take place in Haryana from March 5, 2025.
Rashmi Dey will lead the team as captain, while Priyanka Boruah will serve as vice-captain. The squad includes players like Gayatri Gurung, Maina Narah (WK), Mousumi Narah, Khushi Sharma, Florina Taye, Hemalata Payeng, Shivani Bishnoi, Amontika Munda, Jyoti Devi, Pahari Saikia, Rima Pegu, Mompiya Das, and Neha Chanda.
The standby list features Maini Payeng, Hemi Milli, Dimpi Bhuyan, Bhagyashree Barman, Binkimoni Saikia, Diya Barman, Nibedita Deka, Sunita Phukan, and Priyanka Dutta. The association has also included Uma Chetry and Jintimoni Kalita in the squad, depending on their availability.
The support staff includes Head Coach Pritam Gandhe, Coach Ritu Dhrub, Trainer Joydeep Baruah, Physio Dr. Gita Priyadarshini Bezbaruah, Sports Psychologist Meenakshi Ghosh, and Massage Therapist Anamika Barman Das.
