Guwahati: Cairn Oil & Gas, part of the Vedanta Group and India’s largest private oil & gas producer, has become a partner of the YONEX SUNRISE BWF World Junior Mixed Team & Individual Championships 2025. The event will be held in Guwahati from October 6–19 and will feature players from over 40 countries.
Cairn’s support highlights its focus on youth development, grassroots sports, and community engagement. Through initiatives like this, the company aims to give young athletes opportunities to shine and excel, both on and off the field.

The championship, held annually, includes the Mixed Team Championships and the Individual Championships, attracting nearly 400 players from around the world over 12 days.
Cairn has also supported athletes such as kiteboarding prodigy Nikhamoni Bora from Golaghat, Assam, and 12 para-athletes under its Project Divyang (Sports) initiative, providing grants, equipment, and nutrition support for national and international competitions.
