ADBU and Frankfurt UAS Organise International Training on Embedded Systems

Guwahati: Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU), in collaboration with Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences (Frankfurt UAS), Germany, organised a week-long international training programme on “Microcontroller and Embedded Operating Systems with STM32” from August 4 to 8, 2025, at its School of Technology, Azara campus.

Coordinated by Dr. Alexy Bhowmick and Prof. (Dr.) Bobby Sharma, the fully in-person training provided 32 students with hands-on experience in programming embedded systems, real-time operating systems, and understanding their internal design. The sessions were led by Prof. (Dr.) Karsten Schmidt, Vice Dean of Faculty 2, Frankfurt UAS, with support from teaching assistants Momar Fall and Jeldrik Schröer.

The initiative enhanced students’ technical skills while deepening the academic partnership between ADBU and Frankfurt UAS. It also opened opportunities for future research collaborations and student exchange programmes, showcasing ADBU’s capability to host high-quality, internationally-led technical training.
