Guwahati: Police recovered a stolen bike in Fakirganj, South Salmara Mankachar district, and arrested two suspects.
The bike, belonging to Uttarakhand rider Noni, was stolen from a guest house in Sarusajai. Basishta Police and Fakirganj Police worked together to track it down at Prem Bazar in Fakirganj.
Police arrested Firoz Qazi from Balatari village and Ashraful Dewan from Basanipara village. They were taken to Guwahati for further investigation.
Authorities are checking if the case is linked to a bigger crime network. Vehicle thefts in the region remain a serious concern.
