Argha Goswami, a talented student from Assam, has made history by becoming the president of the Student Senate at the University of Rhode Island, USA. A student of computer engineering, computer science, and applied mathematics, Argha has balanced her academics with leadership roles, showcasing her dedication and skill.
Enrolling at the University in 2021, Argha quickly became an active member of the Student Senate and was elected president after defeating three American contenders. As president, she has focused on promoting cultural exchange, supporting minority and disabled students, and addressing economic challenges faced by the student community.
