The Vrindavan T-20 Organising Committee has clarified that the upcoming cricket tournament is being organised as an independent sporting event and has no official affiliation with any national or international cricket association or governing body.
In an official statement, the committee said the tournament is being independently planned, funded and managed. It said the event has no association, endorsement or official connection with any cricket board, sports governing body, institutional entity or third-party sports organisation.
The organisers also rejected reports or public claims suggesting that the tournament has received official partnership or sanction from any established cricket board or governing body.
“Vrindavan T-20 is an entirely independent initiative, built from the ground up to support regional cricket without any ties to existing boards or third-party sports bodies,” a spokesperson for the organising committee said.
The spokesperson urged media partners, players and fans to rely only on the tournament’s official communication channels for information and updates.
The committee further said it has not claimed any formal relationship with outside governing bodies. It added that social media posts, news reports or promotional materials published by third parties suggesting such relationships are not authorised by the organisers.
The organisers also said they would not be responsible for inaccurate information, speculative timelines or unauthorised promotional material circulated independently by third parties.
The committee said it would continue to focus on organising the tournament as a competitive platform for regional cricket while maintaining transparency in its communication.
