Guwahati: Radisson Blu Hotel Guwahati has launched a special food festival titled “Bhendi Bazaar – The Soul of Mumbai on a Plate” at its restaurant, Café B You, bringing the iconic flavours of old Mumbai to the city.
The festival is being held from June 22 to June 30, 2026, from 7 pm onwards every evening. It offers guests an authentic dining experience inspired by the famous food lanes of Mumbai’s Bhendi Bazaar.
The menu features traditional Bohri and Memoni dishes, Mughlai delicacies and popular South Mumbai street food. Guests can enjoy a variety of slow-cooked dishes, heritage recipes and signature specialties that reflect Mumbai’s rich culinary culture.
The festival also includes beverages such as Mohabbat ka Sharbat, Kokam Sherbet, Rose Sherbet and Maramari Fruit Shake Cocktail.
Live food counters have been set up for kebabs, roomali roti and desserts including Malpua, Mawa Jalebi and Falooda, adding to the overall dining experience.
Speaking on the occasion, Gurmeet Randhawa said the festival aims to bring the unique culinary heritage of Bhendi Bazaar to Guwahati and offer guests a taste of its traditional flavours and food culture.
The festival seeks to recreate the spirit of Mumbai’s historic food district through authentic cuisine, live cooking experiences and community-style dining.
