Rajasthan Royals celebrated International Women’s Day by launching a special all-pink jersey for their Pink Promise Match in IPL 2025.
The team’s CSR arm, Royal Rajasthan Foundation (RRF), also released a campaign film, ‘Aurat Hai Toh Bharat Hai’, as part of the #PinkPromise initiative. Last year, the campaign helped bring solar power to over 250 homes in Rajasthan.
Kumar Sangakkara, Director of Cricket, said, “Pink Promise is more than a campaign; it is a commitment to long-term change.” CEO Jake Lush McCrum added that Rajasthan Royals aims to expand its impact across India by partnering with like-minded organizations.
For every ticket sold for the RR vs MI match, ₹100 will go toward women-led rural transformation. Proceeds from the pink jersey sales will support RRF’s social projects. Additionally, for every six hit in the match, Rajasthan Royals will light up six homes in the Sambhar region with solar power.
The Royals plan to expand their efforts in solar energy, water access, and sustainable livelihoods, ensuring that women remain at the center of change in Rajasthan.
