Guwahati— Peerless Hospital Guwahati organised a special health check-up camp for the female students of Holy Home School on Tuesday, focusing on hygiene, nutrition, and overall well-being. The initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare and create awareness about healthy habits among young girls.

Since all participants were under 18, the organisers ensured a friendly, supportive, and comfortable environment. Doctors from the Gynaecology, Medicine, and Paediatrics departments conducted examinations and guided the students on essential areas of adolescent health, including personal hygiene, balanced nutrition and preventive care.

Dr Gautam Kr Das, CEO of Peerless Hospital Guwahati, said community outreach and awareness form a core part of the hospital’s holistic healthcare vision. He said engaging with students helps build a generation that values hygiene, nutrition, and preventive health from an early age.

Medical Superintendent Dr Pranab Barua said educating and empowering young girls is crucial to building a healthier society. He said such initiatives encourage students to take charge of their health and make informed choices early in life.

Peerless Hospital Guwahati reaffirmed its commitment to quality healthcare beyond hospital premises through community outreach programmes. The hospital continues to address the needs of diverse age and social groups, strengthening its mission of accessible, compassionate, and advanced healthcare.

Located at Ahom Gaon near ISBT, Peerless Hospital Guwahati carries forward over three decades of clinical excellence from Peerless Hospital Kolkata.
