Fifty NCC Girl Cadets are gearing up for an extraordinary honor as they undergo a 10-day Training Camp to represent the North Eastern Region at the Republic Day Parade 2024, set to take place on Kartavya Path, New Delhi. This intensive training camp commenced on October 2, 2023, at the Saint Mary’s Cathedral Higher Secondary School in Kohima.

Among these dedicated cadets, 25 hail from SFS High Secondary School in Guwahati, and the other 25 from St Mary’s Cathedral High Secondary School in Kohima, along with their instructor staff.
Brig PS Sangwan, Group Commander of NCC Group in Kohima, delivered an inspiring address during the opening ceremony of the camp. He congratulated the cadets for their historic opportunity and encouraged them to bring pride not only to their families but also to their communities and the entire state.
