Jain also acknowledged the support of the Lohia family, who earlier donated equipment for the hospital’s radiology department, including CT scan, X-ray, DR system and ultrasound machines through the Lohia Charitable Trust.
He said that the hospital has recently introduced a Diabetes Centre and a Cath Lab in 2025, allowing patients to receive cardiology and diabetes services at affordable rates. He also announced future plans such as an IVF facility, revamping the Mother and Child Block and establishing a nursing college.
Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Anup Kumar Barman said Marwari Hospitals is one of the important healthcare institutions in the North-East. He said the new MRI unit will help provide quality and affordable diagnostic services to all sections of society, especially economically weaker groups. He assured support to the hospital and expressed hope that it would grow to become one of the best hospitals in the country.
