Guwahati: Modern English School, Kahilipara, will host the 1st Open North-East 5×5 School and Club Basketball Tournament 2025 from October 24 to 26.
The three-day event will feature teams from Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, and Sikkim. Players will compete in four categories — Under-19 Boys, Under-19 Girls, Club Open (Men), and Club Open (Women).
Organised by the Modern School of Languages, Sports & Performing Arts, the tournament aims to promote basketball and encourage young talent in the North-East. Winners will receive trophies, certificates, and cash prizes.
Schools and clubs can register by October 15, 2025.
