Guwahati: The Inter-Battalion Regional Level Badminton Competition 2025 concluded successfully today after two days of spirited matches held on October 24 and 25 at the Headquarters of the 1st Battalion, NDRF.
Teams from the 1st, 2nd, 9th, and 12th Battalions of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), representing the eastern and northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, and West Bengal, participated in the tournament, showcasing outstanding sportsmanship and camaraderie.
The competition culminated in an intense final match between the 2nd Battalion NDRF and the 12th Battalion NDRF, where the 12th Battalion emerged as the champion.
The Closing Ceremony was graced by H. P. S. Kandari, Commandant, 1st Battalion NDRF, who congratulated all the participants for their commitment and encouraged them to maintain excellence both in sports and in their professional duties.
The event served as a platform to promote fitness, teamwork, and the spirit of healthy competition among NDRF personnel.
