Guwahati: The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) has announced that Guwahati is fully prepared to host the third T20 International match between India and New Zealand at the ACA Stadium, Barsapara, on January 25, 2026.
The match will begin at 7:00 PM, while stadium gates will open at 4:00 PM to allow smooth entry and security checks for spectators.
The high-profile international fixture has generated massive enthusiasm among cricket fans, with nearly all tickets already sold out. The strong response highlights Assam’s growing reputation as a major venue for international cricket.
Both teams are scheduled to arrive at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport at 5:05 PM on January 24 by chartered flight. The ACA has put in place extensive arrangements to ensure smooth logistics and world-class facilities for players, match officials, broadcasters, and spectators. Special focus has been given to pitch preparation, player amenities, broadcast readiness, and crowd management, in accordance with ICC and BCCI guidelines.
The ACA has emphasized that safety and spectator comfort remain top priorities. Spectators have been requested to strictly follow stadium regulations. Items such as weapons, fireworks, laser devices, large flag sticks, commercial recording equipment, horns, cosmetics, metal cans, glass bottles, backpacks, drones, political or offensive signage, and flammable materials will not be permitted inside the stadium.
The association has appealed to fans to cooperate with security personnel and volunteers to ensure a safe and enjoyable match-day experience.
