Guwahati: Guwahati Police displayed 650 recovered mobile phones and 16 laptops, stolen or snatched by antisocial elements, at the Commissioner of Police office in Pan Bazar. Throughout the day, people who had lost their electronic gadgets visited to identify and reclaim their property. Many left with happy faces, having found their lost items.
The event saw a visit from the DGP of Assam, who handed over recovered mobile phones to their rightful owners. Due to the positive public response, the display will remain open on June 15 as well.
