Guwahati: Guwahati Police conducted an anti-drug operation at Haldibari, under the Noonmati Police Station area. The operation, led by Chandmari Police Station staff and the SOG Central team under the supervision of ADCP Central, resulted in the arrest of two drug peddlers.
Apprehended Individuals:
- Mintu Rahman (28): A habitual drug peddler from Ganesh Nagar, Chandmari PS area.
- Md Dhon Ali (41): A resident of Joljoli, Mangaldai.
Items Recovered:
- 50 vials containing suspected NDPS substances, weighing 68 grams.
- 550 empty vials.
- 10 empty soap cases.
- 4 mobile phones.
- 2 scooters
- 1 Toyota Etios car
- Cash amounting to ₹61,500.
Guwahati Police stated that necessary legal action would be taken against the accused.
