Guwahati: GNRC Hospitals has launched a Botulinum toxin (BoNT) clinic at its Dispur campus to treat patients with neurological disorders. The initiative shifts the focus from the cosmetic use of Botox to its proven therapeutic benefits in neurology.

The clinic is led by senior neurologist Dr. Nabajyoti Barkataky, with support from Dr. Rupjyoti Das and Dr. Alfarid Shahid Ali. “BoNT therapy is scientifically proven and safe. It can greatly improve comfort, mobility, and quality of life for patients,” Dr. Barkataky said.

With this launch, GNRC Hospitals has strengthened its Universal Health Mission – Quality Healthcare for Everyone, continuing its commitment to affordable, advanced medical care in the Northeast. The hospital group, founded by Dr. Nomal Chandra Borah in 1985, is already known for its Swasthya Mitra community health worker program in Assam.
