Guwahati: Apna Ghar Guwahati (Intas Foundation) organized a Fire Safety and Emergency Response Orientation for its staff, patients, and caregivers to strengthen preparedness for fire-related emergencies.
The session was conducted by the Fire Equipment Service Agency, Guwahati, and focused on educating participants about different types of fire, the classification of fire extinguishers, and their correct usage.
Participants were given hands-on training to operate fire extinguishers under expert supervision and learned safe evacuation procedures. The practical demonstrations and interactive discussions encouraged active participation and boosted confidence among patients and caregivers.
Organizers stressed the importance of regular safety training and fire drills to maintain a safe and secure environment at Apna Ghar.
