Guwahati: The Assam government has transferred several IAS and ACS officers in the interest of public service.
Sumit Sattawan, IAS (RR-2015), District Commissioner of Kamrup (Metro), has moved to Tinsukia as the new District Commissioner. Swapneel Paul, IAS (RR-2018), District Commissioner of Tinsukia, has taken charge as the new District Commissioner of Kamrup (Metro).
Aayush Garg, IAS (RR-2016), has shifted from Sivasagar to Cachar as District Commissioner, while Mridul Yadav, IAS (RR-2017), has moved from Cachar to Sivasagar.
Dibakar Nath, IAS (RR-2017), has moved from Dhubri to Bongaigaon as District Commissioner.
Masanda Magdalin Pertin, IAS (RR-2018), has moved from Kokrajhar and now serves as Joint Secretary in the Finance Department.
Simi Karan, IAS (RR-2020), has taken charge as District Commissioner, Tamulpur, while Aranyak Saikia, IAS (RR-2020), has become District Commissioner, Karbi Anglong.
Among ACS officers, Pubali Gohain, ACS (DR-1993), has taken charge as District Commissioner, Darrang.
Nirala Phangshopi, ACS (DR-1995), has moved from Karbi Anglong and now works as Additional Secretary, Hill Areas Department.
Pulak Mahanta, ACS (DR-1997), has become the new Inspector General of Prisons, Assam.
Further, Nabadeep Pathak, ACS (DR-1997), has taken charge as District Commissioner, Dhubri.
Parag Kumar Kakaty, ACS (DR-1999), has moved to Golaghat as District Commissioner.
Pankaj Chakravarty, ACS (DR-2002), has taken charge as District Commissioner, Kokrajhar, with additional responsibility as Director of Training, Bodoland Administrative Staff College.
The government issued the transfer orders to strengthen district administration and improve public service delivery across Assam.
