New Delhi: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has released its first list of 42 candidates for the upcoming Assam Assembly Elections 2026. The list was approved by the party’s Central Election Committee.
The candidates and their constituencies are as follows:

The list includes candidates from Upper Assam, Lower Assam and Barak Valley, covering several SC and ST reserved constituencies. The party is expected to announce the remaining candidates soon.
