Guwahati: Apna Ghar Guwahati, an initiative of Intas Foundation, organised an awareness session on haemophilia at Koinadhara Urban Primary Health Centre on Thursday. ASHA workers and healthcare staff took part in the programme.
The session focused on the causes, symptoms and management of haemophilia, along with information on support services provided by the Intas Foundation. Participants said the programme helped them better understand the condition and will assist them in identifying suspected cases, providing basic counselling and referring patients for further support.
The participants also expressed their willingness to collaborate in future initiatives to support haemophilia patients in the community.
