Guwahati, May 23 : Mayur Hazarika, from Tezpur in Assam, achieved an impressive feat by securing the fifth rank in the highly competitive Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination of 2022. The UPSC website made the official announcement today. Mayur Hazarika, formerly a student at Don Bosco High School in Tezpur, has excelled not only in academics but also established himself as a successful doctor.
Assam takes immense pride in the accomplishment of its candidates, as more individuals from the state secured All India Rank (AIR) in this year’s UPSC examination.
Ishita Kishore emerged as the topper of the civil services examination, followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi M, and Smriti Mishra. The UPSC notification states that a total of 933 candidates have been recommended for appointment.
