Guwahati: The spokesperson for the Assam BJP, Ranjib Kumar Sharma has criticized the Assam Jatiya Parishad’s Assam yatra, calling it an attempt to win votes from Bangladeshi-origin Muslims.
Sharma alleges that Lurinjyoti Gogoi of the Jatiya Parishad embarked on this journey to establish himself as more popular than Gaurav Gogoi.

Furthermore, he criticized individuals like Debabrata Saikia for publishing misleading stories against BJP members in the media. Sharma challenged them to present evidence in court instead of spreading false information with fabricated stories.
Sharma expressed his views to the media, suggesting that leaders like Debabrata Saikia should refrain from propaganda, as the Congress currently lacks political issues.
