Earlier, the Arogya Bandhu Mobile Medical Unit was flagged off in Bhawanipur to provide healthcare services in remote and underserved villages. The fully equipped medical vehicle is offering free consultations, basic diagnostic tests and essential medicines at the doorstep of rural communities.
During outreach visits, senior citizens, women and children took part in free health check-ups. Doctors and paramedical staff conducted examinations and provided guidance on preventive healthcare.
The programme focuses on awareness related to non-communicable diseases (NCDs), anaemia, nutrition, tuberculosis (TB), oral and breast cancer, menstrual health and hygiene, and overall well-being.
Through regular outreach and coordination with local health authorities, the initiative aims to strengthen last-mile healthcare delivery and ensure access to quality medical services in rural areas.
