Guwahati: Dr. Pitambar Dev Goswami, the Satradhikar of the historic Auniati Satra, will address the British Parliament on June 17, 2026.
He will speak on the life and teachings of Srimanta Sankardev and the principles of Ekasarana Naam Dharma. The topic of his speech will be “The Blazing Challenge of Srimanta Sankardeva.”
To mark the occasion, a special programme was organised at Auniati Satra in North Guwahati on Tuesday. The programme included Gayan-Bayan performances, Bhaona by artists of the Samaj and a felicitation ceremony for the Satradhikar.
According to the organisers, the address at the British Parliament is a significant moment for Assam and its Vaishnavite culture. They said it will help introduce Sankardev’s philosophy and the values of Naam Dharma to a global audience.
