Guwahati: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and in line with the vision of the Swachh Bharat Mission, Chief Engineer Project Brahmank has launched a month-long Swachhata Abhiyan from 2 October to 31 October 2025.
The campaign was formally inaugurated at 0600 hrs on 2 October under the leadership of the Chief Engineer, Project Brahmank. A total of 85 participants, including officers, JCOs, supervisors, and staff members, actively joined the initiative with enthusiasm and commitment.
The cleanliness drive will cover the Headquarters complex, officers’ family quarters, residential areas, messes, vehicle parking spaces, and surrounding premises. The initiative aims to maintain high standards of hygiene and promote a plastic-free, waste-free campus environment.
Project Brahmank emphasized that the Swachhata Abhiyan reflects Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of a clean India and highlights the values of discipline, responsibility, and unity. The campaign also reinforces the organization’s commitment to contributing to the national goal of cleanliness and nation-building.
