Guwahati: Peerless Hospital has launched a new super-speciality hospital in Guwahati. Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the facility at Ahom Gaon near ISBT, marking a major step forward in the region’s healthcare access.
The hospital brings over 32 years of Peerless’ clinical experience to Guwahati and aims to serve not just Assam, but also neighbouring states like Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, and even North Bengal and Bangladesh.
With 100 beds now and plans to expand to 300 beds by 2026, Peerless Hospital Guwahati will offer services in cardiology, neurology, orthopaedics, critical care, and more. It is equipped with modern infrastructure, skilled doctors, and advanced diagnostic tools — all under one roof.
“Assam is becoming a model state in healthcare, and we are proud to be a part of this progress,” said Mr. Jayanta Roy, Managing Director of Peerless General Finance and Investment Company Ltd. “Peerless Hospital Guwahati reflects our commitment to ethical, patient-first healthcare closer to home.”
The new hospital is expected to reduce the burden of long-distance travel for medical treatment and make quality healthcare more accessible to people across the Northeast.
