KKHSOU, Marwari Hospitals Sign MoU for Academic and Health Collaboration

Guwahati: Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) and Marwari Hospitals signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday to work together on health and academic initiatives. The MoU was signed in the presence of KKHSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajendra Prasad Das and Marwari Hospitals General Secretary Kishore Kumar Saboo.

Under the agreement, both institutions will organize free health check-up camps, awareness and screening programmes at the university campus and adopted villages, along with voluntary blood donation camps. KKHSOU students of geriatric care will also undergo practical training at Marwari Hospitals, which will extend clinical postings to deserving students.

The MoU also includes academic collaborations such as exchange of students and faculty, joint seminars, workshops, publications, and research activities. Both institutions will work together on entrepreneurship and skill development initiatives, fostering mutual growth in academics and healthcare.
