BSF Seizes Fake Indian Currency at India-Bangladesh Border

Guwahati: The Border Security Force (BSF) seized Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) worth ₹1.97 lakh during a search operation in South Salmara Mankachar district, Assam.

BSF soldiers from 45 Battalion received information about fake currency smuggling. They carried out a careful search in the border area and found the fake notes.

Smugglers often try to send fake money and other illegal items across the India-Bangladesh border. The BSF has increased security to stop these crimes.

The BSF works day and night to protect India’s borders and stop illegal activities.
