Anuradha Roy to Represent Assam in Miss India Worldwide 2025

Guwahati: Assam’s Anuradha Roy, is set to represent India at the Miss India Worldwide pageant in New York in September 2025.

Anuradha, originally from Guwahati, recently won the inaugural Miss India Poland 2024 title, organized by the India Poland Women’s Federation and Razvi Events for Indians residing in Poland. She also bagged the Miss Photogenic title at the pageant held in Warsaw, Poland.

The 27-year-old emerged victorious from a pool of 400 contestants during the screening process, with only 16 finalists making it to the last round.

A former student of Khanapara Kendriya Vidyalaya and Army Public School Narangi, Anuradha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Delhi and dual Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and Criminology.

An accomplished Bharatnatyam dancer, Anuradha has actively participated in beauty pageants since her school days, securing numerous accolades. Passionate about showcasing Assam’s rich culture, she aspires to promote the state’s traditions, tourism, and iconic Mekhela Sador on the global stage.

Speaking about her roots, Anuradha expressed her deep connection with Assam. “I love Assam and cherish my time here with family and friends. I aim to bring the state’s culture and tourism to the global forefront,” she said.

Currently based in Poland, Anuradha works as a Senior Technical Recruiter while practicing as a psychologist. She first moved to Poland in 2021 on a government scholarship for higher studies.

Her journey from Guwahati to the international stage has been inspiring, and all eyes are now on her as she gears up for the prestigious Miss India Worldwide pageant.
